A native of Thailand, Pong first started working in kitchens 14 years ago, and it was there that he discovered his passion for rolling sushi and creating fresh, mouthwatering morsels! He developed a large following of fans and admirers in the Baltimore area, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to open his very own restaurant in Frederick. Situated in the charming historic district of downtown Frederick, Lazy Fish is Pong's first restaurant, and it is truly a labor of love. Had my first Lazy Fish experience today and I am in love! Their rib-eye bento box is perfect for if you're craving bulgogi. It was very tender with a lot of flavor. I was amazed at the amount of food they give you for such a reasonable value. The sushi was also fresh and the staff was very polite!
Absolutely delicious food, great service and cozy atmosphere. On top of having great sushi, they also have great dessert - banana roti is my favorite. This is my go to sushi spot in Frederick and would recommend to anyone visiting!
What a GREAT restaurant. It's tucked away in a cozy downtown upstairs nook. The decor is beautiful. The Staff is very inviting, courteous, and prompt. The food was amazing. It was our first time, but I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu. Pricing and portions are very fair. We were beyond satisfied with our experience.
Perfect place to grab lunch! Food and service are top notch! Definitely coming back! Highly Recommend the dumplings and Tempura. My husband loved the Ribeye Bulgogi and the Sushi is delicious!
